Engineering
Dept 404-377-6198. provides public facilities that
are needed for everyday living, through programs of design
control, regulation and enforcement; as well as facilities
construction, operation and maintenance. Employees in
this department also enforce ordinances regulating private
development that affects public facilities and respond
to citizens' complaints. Drainage system maps are available
for viewing but not for sale as still in-process. 2635

Transportation
and Drainage Division : responsible for the maintenance
of roadway pavements, signs, curbs, and sidewalks. They
also perform maintenance of drainage structures such as
catch basins, pipes and culverts, and detention basins
that have been dedicated to the City. This Division is
the first to respond to emergencies involving roadway
obstructions such as fallen trees and pavement failures.
They perform pavement reconstruction work, pothole repairs,
and installation of speed humps.
Development Division (404-371-2169) handles tree protection
and erosion and sedimentation control.
Roads and Drainage Division (404-508-3600) is responsible for
managing roadway drainage, street light traffic, storm water, flood
control and sidewalk projects.
